The Sebastian Riverfront Fine Art & Music Festival takes over Riverview Park (on Indian River Drive along the lagoon) the fourth full weekend of January every year. 175 juried artists — painters, ceramicists, glassblowers, jewelers, sculptors, photographers — set up under white tents on the grass along the water. Two music stages run continuously all weekend. Attendance runs 20,000–25,000 across two days. Not the main draw, but honest. Food trucks along the north end: fish tacos, grouper sandwich, kettle corn, hand-scooped Florida ice cream. Plan on $12–$18/person for a real meal.
Parking and getting there
Riverview Park has almost no on-site parking. The festival runs free shuttles from three lots every 10 minutes:

From Sunrise on the River: drive south on US-1 for 12 miles, park at Sebastian Middle School, take the shuttle. 25 minutes door-to-tent.

If you're driving in for the festival, don't just hit and run. The itinerary that works:

Practical tips
1. Sunday afternoon is negotiation prime — artists don't want to ship or drive unsold work home; a polite "would you consider $X" often lands 10–15% off. 2. Bring a tote bag — Booths hand you newspaper-wrapped pottery you don't want to carry loose. 3. Sunscreen and a hat — very little shade between tents. 4. Bring a foldable stool — the music stages have no seating. 5. Look for the "Emerging Artist" section — smaller booths near the south end, often best-priced originals.
